I've been playing guitar since high school, and that was longer ago than I care to admit. Since then, I've played with many bands all over New England upstate New York, New York City, Ohio and Colorado, including stints with Maynard Silva, Tina Welch, a fill-in gig with Dick Curless, Strangers (an 80's era N.H. dance band) The High Street Band (a Worcester favorite), Mad Jack and the Screaming Alligators, and a band called Nazareth (no, not THAT Nazareth, a different one). After all that, I quit music for 15 years and picked it up again in the late 90's.
More recently, I've played with The Bone Dogs, a blues band, and The Hip Swayers, whose eclectic song list includes surf, country, and rockabilly.
I've also been recording clips with Garageband for video soundtrack use on telegram.com.

It's the same with guitars. I've owned several Les Pauls, Strats and Telecasters as well as a Firebird and a Yamaha SA2000.
Here's a video I did for a tune I wrote recently. I used my '56 Danelectro Reissue through a Fender Super Champ:
