ABANDONED
Often when New England is photographed, we see the beautiful rural landscapes, villages and mountains, as well as the rugged coastline of Maine. However, we rarely see the parts that are rundown, forgotten and abandoned. Rural life here can be hard. When I’ve gone off the beaten path, I’m struck at how poverty stricken some areas really are, and how forgotten some people must feel.
